Here's What's Happening or soon to Happen in My Family - YIKES!
He finally popped the question and now there's only 1day left 'till the BIG day!
That's right! My sister is getting married! There's only one day left until the wedding and boy are things hectic! Fortunately, we have not run into too many problems yet. Hopefully I shall have the wedding pictures on this page by the end of the year-it depends on how fast we can have the copies made.
A wedding shower has already taken place on September 25, 1999. Hopefully, I shall have those pictures added soon as well. It was a nice shower and she got quite a few necessary items. Now we just have to move Steve from the grill to the oven - yikes! Below is a picture of the wedding shower invitation that I created using Print Shop Deluxe III software. My sister has also had a yard sale in order to sell her furniture - needless to say that it didn't. However, that shall work out eventually. Next up is the flowers and we already have a florist chosen and our cousin is making the cake. We already have the photographer lined up, a caterer for the reception, the person who is giving the ceremony, the honeymoon is planned, and things are pretty well wrapping up as much as possible so far until the BIG day! It shall prove to be, I'm sure, very interesting, and a lot of work. However, I'm sure that we will manage. I know that things won't be easy for my dad for a while, but that will change eventually as well.
Therefore, in this web page, I would like to welcome the soon-to-be new member to our family-Steven Boyd Barker.
